    ARRIVAL IN DEHRADUN - RISHIKESH

    Arrival in dehradun airport and drive to Rishikesh, the 'place of sages' is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga  and is surrounded by Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God appeared by the name of " Hrishikesh " and this area hence firth came to be known as Rishikesh.Later  At evening visit Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Ashram.  Return back to hotel Overnight stay.

    After breakfast proceed for fullday sightseeing tour of Rishikesh  Covering visit Rishikesh Temples & Sight Seeing – Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir, Shivananda Ashram. Return back to hotel Overnight stay

    Lakshman Jhula is an iron suspension bridge over the Ganges. Earlier, it was a jute bridge and was later converted into an iron suspension bridge. The bridge is named after Lakshman, Shri Ram's younger brother because according to the legend, the same jute bridge was used by Lakshman at the same site to cross the Ganga River. This frequently visited tourist spot is an adjoining bridge across the Ganga, connecting the holy shrines of Badrinath and Kedarnath. The jhula provides an excellent panoramic view of the temples and the ganges. Around the bridge is a market famous for wooden items, Rudraksha, holy books, Idols of Gods and Goddesses, gems, local jewelry, and excellent street food.

    Ram Jhula is one of the most popular attractions of Rishikesh. This bridge was constructed later than the Laxman Jhula, in the year 1980. Both these bridges are quite similar in design and steel construction. Ram Jhula is placed a few miles downstream from Laxman Jhula and links Swarg Ashram on the western bank of River Ganga to the Sivananda Ashram on the eastern one. As you walk on the bridge, river Ganga gushes below with full force and you are surrounded by beautiful Himalayas. Let the cool breeze brush past your face. The bride is around 6 km northwards of the holy town. The bridge is also slightly bigger in length than Laxman Jhula. The total length of the bridge is 450 feet.

    Early morning proceed to Auli. Upon reaching Joshimath take the 3.9 km cable car ride. The longest cable car ride* in Asia, it takes you to a scenic Ski resort. On the way, treat your eyes to the mesmerizing views of the surroundings. On arriving, complete the check-in. The evening is going to be an exciting one.Overnight stay at one of the resorts in Auli.

     *Last cable car from Joshimath to Auli leaves at approx 4:30 PM ( subject to weather condition, please recheck before), therefore reach Joshimath before 4:30 PM.

    Mussoorie sightseeing

    After breakfast excursion to Dhanaulti which is 33 kms away and to the ancient mountain top shrine of Surkhanda Devi, climbing upto 9700 feet / 2940 meters. Deodar and Pine Trees, beautiful valleys, snow capped mountains. Also visit the famous Kemtey fall, evening enjoy at mall road, back to the hotel. Overnight at Mussoorie.

    After breakfast, leave for half day sightseeing including Gun Hill, the second highest peak in Mussoorie. Camel’s back Road, The Jheel, Lal Tibba, Lake . Dinner & Overnight at hotel.

    • In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS.

    • The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.

    • Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.

    • In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.

    • We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.
